I am a small-town guy, born in Peterborough and raised in Buckhorn. My academic journey began at the University of Guelph, where I studied Environmental Science for two years. However, at the end of my second year, I decided to leave academia to pursue a burgeoning career in the cannabis sector.
My professional career started in a modest company with just 10 employees. Over five years, I contributed to its growth, expanding to over 700 employees. My roles were diverse, ranging from cultivation and pharmacy to logistics and customer service. Eventually, I spearheaded the establishment of the manufacturing department, taking charge of packaging lines, bulk storage, inventory management, and overall production.
After three years in manufacturing, amidst rapid changes and new management, I transitioned to a role at Aphria (now Tilray) in Windsor, which was the largest producer in Canada at the time. Here, I managed seven departments and over 120 employees. However, after a few years, I realized that my true passion lay elsewhere.
Yearning for a more creative and hands-on career, I turned to real estate, drawn to its potential for financial growth and creative freedom. For the past 3.5 years, I have been actively involved in wholesaling and flipping properties. Despite the challenges, the real estate industry has resonated with me profoundly.
I leverage the diverse skillset I’ve built over the years from the various roles I’ve held to support my clients and the team in innovative, strategic ways.
